And just like you, my world changed when I became a mom. My goals, ambitions, my everything. And also like you, I wasn’t ready to let go of everything I’d worked for before becoming a mom.
But I also couldn’t see how I’d be able to fit back into my old self. The self that went to work for 50-60 hours a week, striving for promotions and career advancement. I needed to grow in a new way, sound familiar?
I needed to explore what mattered to me outside of motherhood, while at the same time, alongside motherhood. Because both matter, and there is not much space for that in the traditional workplace.

Website design wasn’t the first stop on my way to re-finding myself. I started an Etsy shop for Canva templates. I went back to school and got my MBA. And after many late nights and a deep working knowledge of Radiator Springs, I finished my MBA and learned something important:

I started exploring, experimenting, and one day stumbled onto a Showit design course. Something clicked. I was hooked before I even finished the first module.
